Blender2Camera2
Blender2Camera2 gives you the power to create smooth, complex, cinematic movement scripts for the Beat Saber Camera2 plugin.
FULLY CUSTOMIZABLE CAMERA MOVEMENT SCRIPTS FOR BEAT SABER
-
What's all this about?
If you've used Beat Saber's CameraPlus or Camera2 plugins, but found yourself frustrated by the lack of tools for creating custom camera movement scripts, Blender2Camera2 might be what you need.
-
No more writing Camera2 movement scripts by hand.
Running position calculations manually, directly editing JSON files, standing around in your VR headset for hours - this can suck the fun out of any Beat Saber video project. Blender2Camera2 eliminates this tedious work by allowing you to design camera paths in Blender, without any fiddling.
-
Everything you need to know, in one spot.
Blender2Camera2 documentation includes an extensive tutorial (with video clips) to help you learn how to make your own movement scripts, including Blender fundamentals. No Blender experience is required.
-
Design any kind of camera path, no matter how complex.
Blender2Camera2 supports any kind of curve you can imagine, be it a straight line, a spiral, or a completely abstract Bezier line. Smoothly start and stop along the path, flip direction, zoom and pan, and change the field of view. Jump between angles. If you can draw it in Blender, you can use it in Beat Saber.
-
No Beat Saber modification needed.
Blender2Camera2 runs inside Blender's own scripting environment and has absolutely zero dependencies on Beat Saber. You don't even need to have the game installed. (Of course, you'll still need the Camera2 plugin to use your movement scripts.)
-
Why'd you do all this, anyway?
Because it was fun. Otherwise what's the point?
